Thank you for visiting the website of the Alabama Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. When seeking information related to sign language interpreting and the Deaf community in Alabama, we aim to be your source for success.
In September 2016, your newly elected board went to Camp McDowell for a weekend of strategic planning focused on our mission statement, vision, and altogether organizational trajectory for the next two years. We worked long hours, discussed lots of information, gained new insights on ALRID, learned a lot, ate some great food, and really got to know each other. Ask any of the board members about this retreat, and they will say it was worth it. Here’s a little insight for you all on our weekend …
Leading the Interpreting Profession.
Serving the Interpreting Community.
Connecting to the Deaf Community.
Help keep us accountable! Below are the 2016-2018 Board's focus areas.
